Sustainability at University of Galway

At University of Galway we take sustainability seriously and we recognise our responsibility to champion sustainability. Indeed our College of Science and Engineering is a leading force in achieving this for the University.

Several of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses have been designed in direct response to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and all of our courses now consider our contribution to the SDGs, and this is even reflected in the language and the themes that we use and explore and that you’ll learn about.
