Dr Daniel O'Toole
I am a translational scientist with interests ranging from in vitro work to human clinical trials. My funding arises from national, international and industry sources with specific focus on critical care, inflammation, infection and CBRN mitigation. As part of the Regenerative Medicine Institute and the CÚRAM Centre for Medical Devices I have projects utilising novel mRNA molecules for a variety of applications including direct gene therapy, generation of pluripotent stem cells and vaccination.
