Dr. Steve Griffin

Steve Griffin is the Institute Manager for the Institute for Health Discovery and Innovation (IDHI). He has a PhD in Biotechnology and a BSc in Biotechnology, from the University of Galway, an MSc in Neuropharmacology from Maynooth University, and a certificate in business management. He has over 18 years of experience the biotech, MedTech, pharma, and academic sectors.  

As Institute Manager, he facilitates the healthcare community to validate their innovative ideas by completing technology assessments, providing advice on the next steps and funding sources.  

He also works with companies and entrepreneurs to engage the healthcare community, verify, evaluate, and pilot their products/services in a healthcare environment to move them closer to market. Steve is proficient in project management, stakeholder engagement, commercial and technical assessments, mentorship, and providing feedback and advice for de-risking and developing projects in different clinical and technological areas.
