Dr. Fernandos Ongolly

Dr Fernandos Ongolly is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Nursing & Midwifery, University of Galway, working on the PROACT EU Response Qualitative Evidence Synthesis (QES) on trial methodologies. With a background in medical anthropology, Dr Ongolly completed a PhD at University College Dublin, where his research focused on health access and equity. He has extensive experience in epidemic and pandemic-related research, particularly in HIV prevention and treatment, with a focus on last-mile access barriers. His current research interests include the ethics of collaborative research, especially benefit sharing in North–South research partnerships.
