It recognises and rewards the potential of exceptional female students with an annual award to one student who is selected to complete their internship at Fort Wayne Metals Ireland.

The Johnson & Johnson WiSTEM2D programme underlines Johnson & Johnson’s commitment to developing and implementing high-impact strategies to support female students undertaking STEM2D degree courses at University of Galway. WiSTEM2D refers to Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Manufacturing and Design. The programme aims to fuel development of the female STEM2D talent pipeline by awarding and sponsoring women at critical points in their careers, This programme was launched in the College of Science, and Engineering in 2021 and will support 10 female students in 2022 through a range of initiatives including mentoring and bursaries.
