IHDI Early Career Researchers Speed Networking Event

The event is for all early career researchers involved in biomedical or health based research, this includes early PostDocs and PhD students. The aim of the event is purely a networking activity, the University of Galway is a relatively small University with a lot of resources available. The only problem is that these resources are often unknown, to assist in the progression of your research we offer this networking event where you can discuss you research to seek potential help and opportunities. It is also a chance to meet other researchers to network both socially and academically.

The event will be a โ€œspeed datingโ€ style networking allowing participants to have as many engaging conversations as possible. Please be prepared to discuss your research in an elevator pitch style (i.e. 60 seconds) which covers the background, objectives and aims of your project/research. There will be lunch, tea and coffee provided. It is encouraged that all ECRs regardless of stage attend to maximise the impact this first event of many may have
