Manon Hubert
Manon Hubert’s career previously focused on Human Rights advocacy and community integration. She holds a master’s degree in International Human Rights Law, which she earned from the Irish Centre for Human Rights in Galway in 2013.
Manon’s role in the University is to develop two significant initiatives:
- The START Competition (Schools Teaching Awareness of Randomised Trials). An outreach program design to make Trial Methodology accessible and engaging.
- The Meet the Scientist Webinar series, aiming to showcase the variety of scientific careers available and break the stereotype of the scientist as a middle-aged man working alone in a lab.
Her role focuses on better-supporting schools across the country and improving the tools they use to participate in the START Competition, making it an inclusive and motivational experience for all students across Ireland irrespective of their gender, social class, or cultural background.
