Professor Fidelma Dunne joins New National Clinical Trials Oversight Group

Professor Fidelma Dunne, Director of the Institute for Clinical Trials an international trialist is to play a pivotal role in the newly established Department of Health National Clinical Trials Oversight Group

As Director of the Trials Institute at the University of Galway Prof Dunne brings unparalleled expertise and dedication to this initiative. Her involvement is a testament to her commitment to advancing clinical research and improving patient outcomes through trials in both the pharma and MedTech sectors.

The National Clinical Trials Oversight Group, chaired by Professor Donal Brennan, will aim to enhance Ireland's clinical trials landscape by proposing innovative solutions and streamlining processes. Prof Dunne's participation will contribute to making Ireland a leading hub for clinical trials in the pharma and MedTech sectors, benefiting countless patients and fostering medical advancements.
