William Brennan

Liam is a native of Galway City and started his career as tradesman where he qualified with the trade of Fitter, eventually going on to run his own engineering businesses. He is a graduate of University College Galway and holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering as well as Diplomas in Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Engineering. He has been in the University since 1996. He has been Chief Technical Officer in the Biomedical Science Building since 2016 and was a recipient of the President’s Award for Professional Services Excellence in 2022.
