This seminar will focus on female gynaecological malignancies and will start with an overview of the problem in Ireland from Dr Michael McCarthy highlighting current gaps and where improvements are required. We are delighted to be joined at the seminar by visiting Fulbright scholar Dr Melissa Gellar who will give us her view on current and emerging therapies. This will be followed by Dr Eimear Dolan who will discuss the development of a therapeutic implant for the treatment of ovarian cancer. Dr Aoife Lowery will focus on quality of life and patient morbidity in breast cancer and finally Dr Barbara Oliveira will share with us new therapeutic interventions for better safer and faster cancer care.

The seminar will finish with a moderated panel discussion.
